Nigerian Content

By ‘Nigerian Content’ we mean the value that the Brass LNG project adds to or creates in the Nigerian economy, through the utilisation of Nigerian human and material resources.

Our Nigerian Content policy

  • We will act in a fair and ethical way.
  • We will maintain a constructive dialogue with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation's Nigerian Content Division by consulting with and involving them throughout our tender processes.
  • We will welcome and encourage Nigerian resources and suppliers to tender in those areas where competitiveness of cost, quality, delivery time and capacity is demonstrated.
  • We will assist local suppliers through the establishment of programmes designed to help them meet tender criteria.
  • When issuing any tender, we will advise existing suppliers to seek out competitive local resources whenever available.
  • We will only accept tenders from suppliers who are legally authorised to supply goods or services we need at the time of tendering.

Our goal is to maximise Nigerian Content by involving capable local suppliers in our works and encouraging the local business community to develop resources that will continue to support our needs.
