Shipping

We're developing our shipping strategy during the Basic Phase, which is currently underway, and will confirm our shipping partners thereafter.

Transporting LNG

When natural gas is cooled to about -160°C, it becomes a liquid.

LNG is 1/600th the volume of gas. This reduction in volume makes the gas more practical to store and ship and allows more economical transportation over very long distances.

LNG carrier ships

Specially designed ships will transport our LNG to receiving terminals and storage facilities prior to regasification. The ships can safely store and transport LNG at temperatures below -160°C.

Recycling in transit

LNG evaporates very easily. In fact, about 0.1% to 0.15% of the LNG cargo boils off every day.

Rather than go to waste, the LNG that evaporates in transit is used to propel the ship.
