Design

The contract for the Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) of our LNG plant was awarded to San Francisco-based Bechtel Corporation in late 2004.

Preliminary work

FEED followed the Conceptual Studies that assessed the viability of building an onshore LNG facility in the region of the Brass Oil Terminal operated by Nigerian Agip Oil Company (NAOC).

Results

The Bechtel Corporation FEED was based on two LNG trains. The production capacity of each train will be 5 million metric tonnes.

The Brass LNG plant will therefore produce 10 million metric tonnes of LNG per year.
