LNG Ships
Brass LNG's Shipping Department is working towards acquiring a fleet of about 12 specially designed LNG carriers for 20 years of service.
About LNG ships
Our LNG will be carried to our buyers' re-gasification and storage facilities in North America and Europe in LNG ships.
Today's standard LNG ships can carry more than 140,000m3 (58,000 to 65,000 tonnes) of LNG.
Large LNG carriers can have a capacity of more than 210,000m3, a length of 300m and require a water depth (draught) of up to 12m when fully loaded.
LNG shipping and safety
Since the first commercial LNG was dispatched in 1964, over 35,000 successful shipments have been made without a major incident.
LNG Shipping is one of the safest forms of transport, and has a good track record of safely delivering the world’s energy needs.
